As an Instructional Design Lead, Stephanie (Steph) Wooler collaborates with faculty to create online courses for Harvard Online. Since receiving her doctorate in Romance Languages and Literatures from Harvard in 2012, her career in secondary and higher education has spanned teaching, academic advising, administration, and curriculum design. In addition to working as an academic advisor and adjunct faculty at Wentworth Institute of Technology, she has worked on multiple large scale curriculum projects including developing curriculum for the EngageNY project in New York State and leading the development of culturally responsive ELA curriculum for Grades 11 and 12 as part of the Chicago Public Schools Curriculum Equity Initiative.  Steph is a transplant to New England from Old England, but is now settled in Somerville with her husband, daughter, and three cats. Outside education, her interests include literature, rugby, singing, and smuggling as many cats as she can get past her husband into the house.
