Patti Grip

As Director of Administration, Patti oversees administrative functions across the department and supports all VPAL employees. She and her team work to streamline business processes across teams, ensuring consistency and compliance in our agreements and reporting. She also oversees grant management for externally funded projects within VPAL, such as LabXchange. Her team supports VPAL Directors in building a diverse team and oversees departmental HR-related processes, including recruiting, onboarding, performance reviews, promotions, etc.

Before joining VPAL in 2013, Patti held various finance and administration positions across the University, including at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences Office of Career Services and the Harvard Medical School Information Technology Department. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Saint Bonaventure University.
