Mary Godfrey

Mary is the Director of Multimedia at VPAL, leading a team of editors, videographers, and producers to create compelling video content that enhances online learning and key initiatives. She drives storytelling strategy, ensuring digital media aligns with institutional goals and engages a global audience. From managing studio production to collaborating with marketing teams, faculty, and content developers, she is focused on delivering impactful and engaging media experiences.

Before VPAL, Mary was a producer at ABC News, contributing to 20/20, World News with Diane Sawyer, and Good Morning America. She wrote, shot, and produced dynamic content for broadcast and digital platforms, crafting compelling narratives across news and lifestyle features.

Mary holds an M.A. in Journalism from NYU and an M.Ed. in Education, Innovation, and Technology from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
