Huan Wang is a research scientist specialized in educational assessment, testing, and measurement. Her research interests include examining the differential item functioning effect on test equating, the applications of multilevel modeling and structural equation modeling in substantial research, adaptive learning, and the big data analytics.  Prior to joining VPAL, Huan served as a statistical consultant and data expert in a large-scale reading intervention research team, providing analytical and evaluation support. She also worked as a data analyst for institutional research at Texas A&amp;M University-College Station and an English teacher in China. Huan received her master’s and doctoral degree in Educational Psychology from Texas A&amp;M University-College Station, where she also finished an Applied Statistics program in the Department of Statistics.
