Barbara Beaudoin

As Senior Director of Finance, Barb oversees financial planning, analysis, operations, and reporting for VPAL. She and her team are responsible for aligning resource allocation with organizational goals, building financial models for products and business lines, developing reports and key metrics to support decision-making, and managing effective, efficient, and compliant business operations. Collectively, the team shares financial insights and organizational outcomes with a variety of constituents, including VPAL Directors, School and University leadership, and external partners.

Prior to joining VPAL in February 2024, Barb served in a variety of financial and administrative capacities at Harvard, including roles at Harvard College, the Harvard Museums of Science & Culture, the FAS Office of Finance, and the Center for Continuing Professional Education at the Harvard School of Public Health. Barb also has experience as a high school teacher, and holds an MBA from Simmons School of Management, an MEd from the University of Colorado, and a BA in Biology from Boston College.
