Professors Evelynn Hammonds (FAS) and Nancy Krieger (HSPH) will engage in a conversation focused on the intertwined sociopolitical and socioeconomic drivers of racialized health inequities during the COVID-19 pandemic. This talk will draw on the professors' distinct and overlapping expertise in relation to history of science, social epidemiology, and a shared commitment to understanding and addressing societal health inequities from the past to the present.
