#  Operation Impact Launched: Students Power Learning Innovations

 The [Harvard Initiative for Learning and Teaching (HILT)](https://hilt.harvard.edu/) at the Office of the VPAL is announcing the launch of [Operation Impact](https://www.operationimpact.net), a university-wide initiative to support student innovation in education. Operation Impact and VPAL will provide [funding](https://www.operationimpact.net/funding), [resources](https://www.operationimpact.net/resources), and [community](https://www.operationimpact.net/community) for students from all levels of Harvard University. Additionally, Operation Impact is warmly inviting MIT students to participate on innovation teams this year. This year’s kick-off will be Thursday, October 3, 2019, 5:00 – 8:00 PM, in the Smith Campus Center’s first-floor lobby. The first [funding deadline](https://www.operationimpact.net/pilot-funds) for Operation Impact is October 14.
